The American Institute of Baking (AIB) conducts an annual, in depth inspection of our facility. In addition to a very careful inspection of our manufacturing process, our warehouse, the plant exterior and grounds, the sanitation program, the pest control program, the HACCP program and the quality control program, the AIB inspector reviews all records maintained by the manufacturing department. These records include, but are not limited to, our Master Sanitation Schedule (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Semi-Annual/Annual Activities), our Daily Inspection Reports, our Monthly Inspection Reports, our Pest Control Records and many others.
We are proud to report that the AIB has awarded the KellyFlour.com their highest rating of Superior for six consecutive years. Our last inspection was conducted on October 19, 2001.
Chickadee Products, & Preferred Milks
All products manufactured by Chickadee Products and Preferred Milks are approved for kosher use by the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of American (Union Orthodox). All Preferred Milks' blends are designated Dairy (OU-D). Chickadee Products' blends are also designated Dairy (OU-D) because milk and milk-derived ingredients are blended on the same equipment as the egg extender blends.
Union Orthodox conducts monthly, documented inspections of our facility to assure that we are in compliance with its requirements. Copies of its inspection reports are maintained on file.
Pareve Blends
Pareve (non-Dairy) blends, certified by the Union Orthodox, are available at an additional charge.
Private Label
We provide kosher certification, OU-D or Pareve, for our Private Label customers through Union Orthodox at an additional charge. We handle all of the documentation, record keeping and monthly inspections for these accounts. The Union Orthodox invoices our company directly for its annual fee and special production runs. We bill our customers for the identical amount.
