KEL-YOLK S is a premium egg blend that duplicates the functions and characteristics of liquid and/or frozen whole eggs in the production of cookies, hamburger buns, cakes, and yeast-raised doughnuts at a substantial savings. Usually the middle cost of the three Chickadee Products.

When tested in chocolate chip cookies the results showed cookies containing Kel Yolk S were judged to have a good make-up, sweet aroma and had a chewier (softer & more flexible) bite than cookies containing whole liquid eggs. Finished cookies were lighter in appearance that cookies containing whole liquid eggs.

CONVERSION Chickadee Kel Yolk S conversion is 1 part Kel Yolk S + 3 parts water = 4 parts of whole liquid eggs.
Chickadee Kel Yolk S conversion is 1 part Kel Yolk S = one part whole part dried eggs.
HEAT APPLICATIONS Chickadee Products Kel Yolk S works well in both low heat and hi-heat applications.
PACKAGE SIZES Chickadee Products Kel Yolk S is packed 50 pounds in a polyethylene bag n box with label designating product, the lot number, code dating, Kosher identifier, manufactured by information, ingredient statement and allergens (if any) present.
STORAGE/ SHELF LIFE/ DATE CODING The shelf life for Chickadee Products Kel Yolk S is 12 months from the date of production. To guarantee freshness it is recommended Chickadee Products are stored at a room temperature of 40-50 degrees and a maximum 50% humidity.
KOSHER CERTIFICATIONS Chickadee Products Kel Yolk S is certified kosher dairy by the Orthodox Union.
